Dynadot increasing auction deposits

December 4, 2025 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

Dynadot sent out an email that they would be increasing the deposit required for auction bids of $2,000 or more. It will now be 10%.

Full email

We would like to inform you about an important update to Dynadot Auctions. Starting December 8, 2025 00:00 PST, the deposit required for auction bids of $2,000 or more will increase from 5% to 10%. This change helps ensure a smoother and more secure bidding environment for all participants.

Please make sure your account balance can cover the deposit amount. The deposit will be locked until you’re outbid or the order is paid. If you win the auction and choose not to pay for the order, the deposit will be forfeited as a non-payment fee. All deposits remain fully refundable if you are not the winning bidder or if the auction does not complete.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support team at info@dynadot.com.

All the best,
Dynadot
