Those are some incredible bids

March 4, 2020 by Raymond Hackney

GoDaddy auctions

So while I was looking at GoDaddy auctions this morning, four auctions stood out.

 whatsaap.org7–  –  $11,750 *USD$ 3D 8H
 feverr.net7–  –  $11,500 *USD$ 3D 8H
 xvideos.page7–  –  $11,500 *USD$ 3D 8H
 orderfoodonline.org6–  –  $11,000 *USD$

All four of these are public auctions, and these names were just registered between 5 days to 3 weeks ago. While I don’t want to cast any aspersions as I know nothing about these four names.

GoDaddy should be sure that they are legit, here is a piece on verified bidders, https://www.godaddy.com/garage/verified-bidders-make-domain-bidding-better-gd-auctions/

Why is it ok for registrars to profit from trademarks but not for registrants?

In other, totally unrelated news, money laundering is a crime.
