Twitter to start testing Fleets

March 5, 2020 by Raymond Hackney

Fleets

Twitter is getting in on the “stories” side of social media, with a new feature called, Fleets. Fleets will not go out to the network, be able to be searched and cannot be embedded.

TechCrunch reported:

Twitter is one of the last major social platforms to test out a Stories format. First popularized by Snapchat, you can now find a version of Stories across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and others. Spotify also recently announced a test of a Stories-like feature and even Microsoft’s Skype gave it a go at one time, as did Match and Bumble.

Currently this is starting out in Brazil only. Will you be looking to Fleet?

The domain name Fleets.com is owned by WN.com. They should see an uptick in traffic if this takes off all around the world.
