The best registrar poll for 2019 on Namepros concluded today with NameSilo coming in first place. GoDaddy was second and Dynadot third.
This is a poll ran roughly every 18 months, with 915 votes this time.
The last two competitions GoDaddy won, taking 52% of the vote 3 years ago, and then beating NameSilo 253 votes vs 191 or 29.8% vs 22.5% roughly 18 months ago.
For some registrars it’s a time to think about the service they are offering. Registrars not seen by many to be the best outdid companies usually thought to be of a better service.
For instance Fabulous and Enom combined has less votes than Network Solutions. 1&1 actually had more votes than Fabulous, Enom, Hexonet and Internet BS.
NameSilo, GoDaddy and Dynadot took 63.9% of the vote.

I feel the same way about NameSilo.
if u own worthless domains like 90% of average joe out there, then the registrar does not matter much.
but if you own domains that have value, then you must choose a good registrar like GoDaddy.
GoDaddy is worth about $13 Billion, yes with a B…Billion and has about 60 million domains registered.
There must be a reason for this.

The proof is in the pudding,godaddy is horrible for navigating,absolutely the worse when it come to controlling your account.At one time it was easy to transfer to another godaddy user ,now it’s like jumping through hoops
GoDaddy is worst domain registrar. Their support is 3rd class. They charge too high for nothing. They want to loot new customers with traps. No to GoDaddy for lifetime.

Looking at the data above, I am shocked that Tucows is #3.

How could a domainer vote for Netsol? 1.3%
What is also interesting about the data above, how the registrars owned by professional domainers did not have higher ratings. (Epik, Namebright, Fabulous, Uniregistry )
