Did the .net holder just pay $20,000 to get the .com?

August 11, 2018 by Raymond Hackney

KruegerGroup.com has had a lot of owners that kept giving up on the name. The name was owned by a Timmy Krueger from Corona del Mar Properties.

The domain was left to expire in 2011 after being registered for just one year. Then along comes Mike Mann’s DomainMarket.com and hand regs it 3-31-2011. He must have sold it to Krüger GmbH & Co. KG.

The name expired in 2016 and was acquired by Jason Newby with a new creation date of 6-6-2016. I would imagine it was a one backorder deal, because Namebio would have recorded a sale over $100. Newby was the topic of a long thread on Namepros.

The name sold on Sedo for $20,000.

I imagine the buyer is KrugerGroup.net. Whois still showing Sedo Transfer Service.
