Sucky Domain Names

Sucky Domain Names

Someone over the weekend asked me if I thought they should get their name + sucks.com?

I didn’t think they needed it and certainly don’t need to spend the money securing a .sucks domain.

It did get me to looking at industry participants and see if they decided to go the nameSUCKS.com route.

RickSchwartzSucks.com was registered in 2000 and points to DomainKing.com.

FrankSchillingSucks.com was registered in 2007 and Frank is willing to sell it to you.

ElliotSilverSucks.com was registered June 2012 and does not resolve.

AndrewRosenerSucks.com was registered in 2012 and points to his Twitter account. Andrew also registered MediaOptionsSucks.com back in 2015 and that points to MediaOptions.com.

GoDaddySucks.com was registered in 2002 and is owned by GoDaddy, the name points to GoDaddy.com. AfternicSucks.com was registered in 2000, it points to Afternic.com.

DynadotSucks.com was registered in 2005. Does not resolve currently.

EnomSucks.com was registered in 2003. One of the only sucks related names, not owned by the IP holder. The registrant who owns the name, points it to their Sedo portfolio.

NetworkSolutionsSucks.com registered since 2003, another name not owned by the IP owner. Points to a defunct Facebook page.

ChefPatrickSucks.com registered in 2010, now points to the mini doughnut site owned by Chef Patrick. This was the most famous or infamous sucks related name in the history of the domain industry, Rick Schwartz wrote a couple posts and the industry was focused on this story day and night for a couple days. I am sure he will come out and say he is sorry and everyone will forgive him and then Morgan will back him up and and then everyone will suck each others cock. Back to biz as usual.

No More Coverup! Time to Set the Record Straight.

SedoSucks.com registered in 2005 and owned by Sedo. Does not resolve currently. They also own the .org.

NameprosSucks.com was registered in 2005 and does not resolve. RJ initially registered it and I believe gave it to Namepros management after the sale.

DNForumSucks.com registered in 2017 and the owner will sell it to you.

Rick Latona and Adam Dicker once owned their names in sucks.com but let them expire years ago.

So do you own your name sucks.com?

Of course there is .sucks too.

Curious do non-domain high profile types register their [my name]+sucks.com? I see DonaldTrumpSucks.com is registered. And would they include [my name].sucks in the equation?

Reading those Rick posts again and all the comments was hilarious. You realize how many scumbags and how many idiots are or were in domaining. It looks like many of those commenters have left the biz.

any “idiot” with a credit card and the grey matter to execute a domain registration is “in” domaining

what is sad, is how readily on domainer turns on other domainers

ugly, ugly, predatory, ugly game, the domain name game

      n’est pas?
