Eli Lilley Pulls New gTLD App For .CIALIS & Rogers Communications Pulls App For .CHATR

October 4, 2012 by Michael Berkens

Two more new gTLD applications have been withdrawn by the applicants, bring the total number of withdrawn new gTLD applications to 6.

Eli Lilley has withdrawn its application for .Cialis., apparently it didn’t have the staying power you would have thought it would.

The application was submitted on Behalf of Eli Lilley by Fairwind Partners.

The second application now showing as being withdrawn as of today, is for the new gTLD .CHATR which was filed by Rogers Communications Partnership.

This now makes 6 applications for new gTLD’s that have been withdrawn.

Applicant’s can still get a refund of 70% of the $185,00 filing fee by withdrawing their application at this point.

Back in September we wrote about 4 new gTLD applications being withdrawn, three were by  Google.
