A nice domain, indeed. (So Sedo auctions still get attention on the right names?)

Definitely a buyers market at the moment

Btw, this domain sold for $16,500 quite exactly a year ago (in Rick Latona´s first daily domain auction).

Did anyone see what Boston.net or KansasCity.net went for?

Boston.net – “The domain is availanle for purchase”. Guess it did not sell.

Great sale congrats to the seller, (e ) and ( i ) names sell for nice cash. Must be a end use as it was way over reseller price.

and how about a shout out to David who had the guts to put the domain into auction with only a $7K reserve.

A bigger shout out for whoever listed it with a $1 reserve in Latonas last year.

GREAT domain, relevance increasing at the speed of light as innovative electronic payment methods are breaking in to offline commerce.

    Congrats to the buyer.

@Troy I think KansasCity.net got to 5,900 but did not meet reserve. Madison.net went for $4,501, not sure about boston.net.

names like PortablePay PhoPay PhoPal are better, however, the value of ePayments.com is much higher but probably the seller hasn’t wanted to wait

    16.5 to 52 in 1 yr.
    classic.

    “what is value?”
    dunno.
but internet = hype and hype = money.

    marchex has epay.com
    much easier to type

yes, epay.com is better, but isn’t on sale

If IE and Firefox follow Chrome’s lead, its not gonna matter anymore whats easier to type. Type the first letter of the domain in URL bar and all the recent sites you visited starting with that letter are going to drop down. Hit down one or two times and hit enter and you are there.

PayPhonePay.com has more of a ring to it. Also, RunningShoes.com just sold for $700,000. It was a Pvt sale. Google Adwords Traffic Estimator says for those exact keywords you can expect at least 667 clicks a day which you will pay Google $1,272.000 a Day for showing Running Shoes 667 times. I personally have domains that get 100 to 1,500 clicks a day. So I’m putting a few “traffic getting” on the market for Cheap compared to running shoes. LastThe.com 503 Clicks a day, OfDept.com 407 Clicks a day and OfMexico.com 365 Clicks a day.
