ePark.com Sells for $30K on NameJet.com

December 23, 2010 by Michael Berkens

The auction for the domain name ePark.com ended yesterday on Namejet with a bid of $30,600.

While the domain has a nice ring to it, I think it priced at full retail at $30K

Speaking of full retail, FindAbook.com got a price of $8,610.

Ferdinand.com pulled in $6K but not sure what you do with that one either.

OrganicEggs.com sold for $5K but I’m not sure such a thing exists, I know of free range eggs but not sure about organic.

Mercenaries.com pulled in $4,100 but not sure what exactly one would do with that domain unless your going to go with a “jobs” type of site and then not sure that’s a totally controllable community

TaxAlert.com found at buyer at $4K but I still like the PayNoTaxes.com that I picked up for $310 at Namejet.com better.

MediationCenter.com went in comparison for a pretty cheap $2,100
.

7881.com got $2,600

I’d have the agree with you Mike. The prices for a lot of these auction names have been at retail prices. It will be interesting to see if they substain, especially seeing some on the selling prices at dnjournal.

PayNoTaxes.com -you can sell that to the tea party movement for big bucks!! or to the Republicans.

MHB-that the beauty of domains, you might not know what to do with it(maybe you are getting “OLD”(he he he) but others see $$$$$
Anyway, have a good snowy X-Mas in Florida.

I was the buyer of 7881. I thought I got a good price but I guess you don’t hear many people say they overpaid.

PayNoTaxes.com is surely a top domain. $310 is a bargain. Happy Christmas!

I was watching mercenaries, look at stuff like Blackwater, which is a mercenary company, which has been made famous and used extensively by the us military as a contractor.

These are big money companies, but I’m not sure thereare very many of them so te potential buyer base ain’t too big

Mike, I see many names at NJ with expiration dates one year out. How do WE get to send some of our names to auction and sell to domainers at what lately is retail prices!?

    Webuythe

You need to contact Namejet.com and chat with them about listing your domains.

I do think they need to be registered with enom to do it, so you may have to move your domains to them in order to qualify

Don’t forget about the exploding online gaming industry. That’s what the previous owner who let it expire was involved in.

You know it’s funny but I think that the reason this name brought in so much is because of eparks.com but hey what do I know. We have been getting some great deals on namejet recently but it truly amazes me what everyone else is bidding on instead of the good names I have been buying. 🙂

    Hi,

Ferdinand (1983–2002) was a Thoroughbred racehorse racehorse who won the 1986 Kentucky Derby and 1987 Breeders’ Cup Classic. He was voted the 1987 Eclipse …

    ___

Watch a tape of the 1986 Kentucky Derby…. Post #1(out about 19) the worst….came from dead last with “Bill Shoemaker” Up…One of the best rides ever in the “Derby”. ( I could not find a good one on “YT” 1986 I guess….)

    ___

Whois: shows someone from Mexico owns it….and it resolves to a ‘parking page’….lol

    _____

So I have know clue…Just my almost 2 cents.

    Best,
    Dan
