A couple of new sales just hit Sedo.com.

The hack of Want.it sold for $26,500

Last week we wrote about another domain hack T.ag which sold for $60,000

Also hitting the wire today is the sale of MAI.com which sold for 80,000 Euros, which at today’s exchange rate is about $115,000 USD.

A couple of days we wrote about another three letter .com sale when POW.com sold for $75,000

There are a ton of possible things that MAI stands for and you can see some of them here.

Congrats to all Buyers and Sellers.

.It for those who don’t know is the country code for Italy.

The ecomomy is finally coming back ! Domain sales are climbing. There are a lot of offers now coming in for domains such as: iCloudSearch.com and FanPageAdvertising.com

Mai is pretty hard to brand in English as it creates too much confusion with May. May is the valuable brand here, Mai is a minor second fiddle to it. Maybe it was bought to use in some Asian language.

I have received a couple of offers lately on a couple of hacks, it seems that things are looking up for them. I think though we will have to wait until years end to see a fuller picture emerging before the shampaigne corks can be popped!

I think domain hack could have more value if with or without Its extension, can be read/pronounced as a words.

ex: register.ing [without ext= "register" and with ext= "registering"] is more valuable than regist.er search engine may read the name as “regist”, and regist isn’t a words? *Those were not real domains, just examples*

But that’s just my ortodox opinion, since domain name sales price might vary according to buyer’s interests and sellers effort&strategy in marketing Their names and SEO. sometimes, unworthy name was sold at higher price than the precious one :-0
