May 5, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

A couple weeks ago Toni.com sold at GoDaddy for $42,500, the name previously sold back in 2013 for $12,800. Commenters here speculated who the buyer was. Everything from a hair care company, to a yogurt company, to Toni Braxton. The buyer was a domain investor Deepak Ramani and his Cyber Capital Technology purchased the name. The name is parked at Undeveloped.com. Another gem owned by Deepak … [Read more...]

ChrisMatthews.com closes at $2,401 did the talk show host finally get his name?

May 5, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

Chris Matthews the host of MSNBC's Hardball, has never owned his name in .com. Now of course this is not an uncommon name, but with the amount of money Mr.Matthews makes and being in the rough and tumble world of politics, he might want to have his name just to keep it from those who oppose him. ChrisMatthews.com was originally registered in 1999 and passed between a few different registrants … [Read more...]

NameJet to take a second go at the unsold inventory from NamesCon 2019

May 2, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

NameJet sent out an email a few minutes ago that they are going to be relisting many names from the NamesCon 2019 auction. This time with lower reserves. I would also hope with lower commission, but I don't have any word on that. Some of the names include XU.com, BeautifulWomen.com and SingleMen.com. The email read: There are HUNDREDS of PREMIUM NAMES from the last online … [Read more...]

Cavemen.com sells for $20,460 less the second time around

May 1, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

One name I saw on the list tonight at Namebio was Cavemen.com and how it closed at NameJet for $4,540. I was thinking how this name would be used? Then I saw it sold back in 2008 for $25,000. What's interesting is the registrant is a lady who once worked at Neustar over 15 years ago. But the admin was a different gentleman and the tech contact was back to the lady. The lady was listed in … [Read more...]
