PPC Companies Agree to Pay Fine for Gambling Ads

Microsoft, Google and Yahoo agreed to pay a civil fine totaling 31.5 million dollars for carrying PPC ads for gambling, going back to 2000.     Microsoft paid 21 million, Yahoo share was 7.5 million and Google paid 3 million, less than half of its average daily profit of 11 million dollars. Baidu breaks $400 a share

Baidu.com broke through the $400 a share level today.  After hitting its high of $429 in late October it fell as low as $300 a share just a few weeks ago. For those unfamiliar with Baidu, it is the leading search engine in China.
