Rick Schwartz weighed in on the second CoinBook.com auction. The auction closed at $19,077. Rick did have a talk with Todd Han over his concerns about the first auction and the proper price that should have been offered to him as the second bidder. They did not come to an agreement. Last week I wrote about Rick’s displeasure with how the first auction was handled.

Rick wrote:

And let’s be brutally honest: that $19K only happened because I gave the whole thing oxygen all week long. Without me? It never would have come close to that number. And that was AFTER: • Over TWO WEEKS • Across TWO auctions • With DOZENS of real bidders • With massive publicity, drama, threads, screenshots, analysis • With the entire domain community watching and weighing in…

Let’s break down the @dynadot CoinBook .com saga:

1st auction hit a bogus $33,000.
But the REAL last legitimate bid was $12,700. The one that should’ve been honored.

Fast-forward to the 2nd auction and it tops out about $19K.

BOTH AUCTIONS COMBINED only reached $31.7K. Still… pic.twitter.com/EQXuRwLuND

Let’s ask the question: Did Rick participate in the CoinBook.com auction for the second time or not?
