Domainer Expo is coming up soon and I asked founder Ish Milly if he could give some insights about the conference.
1) What made you decide to get into the conference game?
I have a background organizing conferences and business events and genuinely enjoy bringing people together. I sincerely believe organinizing events is a life hack
2) So first things first, when is Domainer Expo and where will it be held?
The 3rd edition of Domainer Expo is on Sept 18th and ends on the 19th
3) What can attendees expect this year?
We have some amazing speakers including investors like Braden Pollock, industry insiders like Todd Ryan, na innovators like Matt Gould the ceo and cofounder of Unstoppable domains speaking.
We will cover a wide scope of relevant topics and also have a VIP networking dinner on the evening of Sept 18th to kick things off. This year we will be giving an award to Braden Pollock as domainer of the year. He’s just way above the curve in this business and deserves the recognition in the midst of his peers.
4) How does Domainer Expo compare to a conference like NamesCon?
NamesCon is way more established and I’ve enjoyed attending and even speaking at it. I think we are a much more intimate event. We don’t have the largest turnout but I think we have a quality roster of speakers and allow for people to engage with each other in a more meaningful manner. I would say we are a supplemental event and of course Las Vegas ia great venue.
5) Will there be a domain auction at the conference and if so how do people submit, and what is the commission?
Yes we are hosting a virtual conference starting the day after the conference. All the details on how to submit and bid are on our website
