Aqueduct.com closes at $72,000 at GNAME

July 27, 2025 by Raymond Hackney

GNAME

Back in May I wrote about GNAME increasing their number of registrars to 501. The goal to catch more names. They caught a beauty and auctioned it off. Aqueduct.com. Archive.org has info on the site dating back as far as 1996. Here is a look at 2003 where they dubbed themselves, “The architects of selling online” Nothing archived in recent years. It will be interesting to see who won the name and what they do with it.

Aqueduct•com was at $332 with 10 mins left in the auction at Gname and it's now at $69,000

I feel the name is slightly overpriced considering its quality, length, and overall characteristics. At a wholesale level, I’d value it around $20k at most.
