Custom Checkout Link Moves to GoDaddy URLs

James Iles announced today that the custom checkout link at Afternic is moving to a GoDaddy url. I think that makes sense, the world knows GoDaddy, domain investors know Afternic.

How do I create a Custom Checkout Link? 

Creating a Custom Checkout Link for your domain name hasn’t changed. It remains a simple process. Here’s how. 

  1. Head to your Portfolio page, and click the ellipsis next to the domain name of your choice. 
  2. Click “Create Custom Checkout Link” 
  3. A pop-up will appear. Enter your Buy it Now or Lease to Own terms 
  4. Click “Create Link,” and your Custom Checkout Link will appear 
  5. Send the link to your buyer. They’ll have 7 days from when you created the link to pay for the domain name.  
  6. Need to access the link again? It’s available through your Portfolio page at any time during those 7 days. We’ll also email it to you.
