$295K Buyer of Maxima.com revealed

November 29, 2021 by Raymond Hackney

Maxima.com

Maxima.com sold for $295,000 last month. Dubai Domains sold the domain name through BrandBucket. The name previously sold back in 2006 at SnapNames for $16,750.

Nissan rolled out the Maxima in 1980 and still produces them today. There is also the Argentinian born Queen of The Netherlands, Queen Máxima.

The buyer is Europe’s largest Kitchen equipment supplier that operates on MaximaKitchenEquipment.com.

There are 69 live trademarks for Maxima at the USPTO.

    Nice upgrade for the buyer.
    Nice price for the seller.
    Good deal all-around.

Since Nissan still doesn’t own Nissan.com, this could have been a great opportunity to badge and brand their vehicle (owner’s manual, and push in-dash subscription services cross-selling things such as Spotify) with Maxima.com and drop a marketing campaign for the 2022 Maxima.

This would’ve only cost them 8 cars; eight out of thousands (or thousands of “free” subscriptions to new owners) they could sell!
