Jerrick.media is rebranding to Creatd. The company looks to have purchased the domain name Creatd.com from Brandpa.
The name was listed at BrandBucket for $2,395 as seen here on DNBolt.com.
Jerrick is the owner of Vocal.media “650,000 creators who have published over 150 million words, which has been attributed to over 400 million minutes of people reading stories on Vocal.”
They are public company trading on the over the counter market. They are moving to the Nasdaq national market. Stock symbol will be CRTD.
In a medium post the company wrote, But now, we are moving into the next chapter. We call it ‘Jerrick to Creatd’. It’s our journey to uplisting to the Nasdaq Capital Markets.
Sounds like they learnt about New Tlds the hard way!
They seem to be fans of .media Paul. They are keeping Vocal on Vocal.media of course the .com would be very expensive if available, which it’s not, a real business on vocal.com.
That will be the next rebrand, looks like they are going bust anyway, 99% share price fall.
They went back to branding 101.
By your logic, the owners of shoes.com and beer.com learnt about .com the hard way.
Sorry that is not the same logic, they are not selling Jerrick.media, they are dumping it.
The point is that shoes.com and beer.com went out of businesses.
They’ve done a rebrand, for obvious reasons. If a company goes bust that doesn’t mean the name must have been the problem. Common sense needed.
Snoopy doesn’t like inconvenient counter examples.
Also I’m sure he thinks that the misspelt creatd is terrible – but because it’s a .com he loves it? Really?
Also Snoopy, you love to talk about “traffic leakage” and “email leakage” when folks use new domains but you are amazingly quiet when it comes to real leakage that will happen with them building on creatd.com instead of created.com – so many lost customers, business and $ – isn’t that what you usually say? But not this time #hypocrisy #inconvenient truths
Nope, I don’t love it, creatd.com is terrible also. Not as bad as Jerrick.media, but still awful.
The problem with this company is they are clearly not getting proper advice. Possibly the same person has made both naming decisions.
Classic.
One of their companies also uses a .digital. They have achieved a lot to date with new TLDs – more than most reading this ever will. It can hardly be said the domains have not served them well!
They look to be almost bankrupt.
This public company has $44,628 left in the bank and $51million accumulated deficit. Another DigitalTown type situation.
