The Domain Show – New Dates July 23-25 2020

June 5, 2020 by Raymond Hackney

Back on April 9, I wrote a post is “The future of NamesCon virtual?” At the time Page Howe left a comment about a show he was looking to do called the Domain Show.

The Domain Show was scheduled for next week. The show looks to have been pushed back and will now take place July 23 – July 25. (You Tube had wrong date as July 24 to July 26)

Page Howe produced a 10 minute video

Shane mentioned today how people will most likely not feel comfortable attending a conference next winter. I agree it’s why I wrote what I wrote back in April.

Page is getting the head start and will be a good test case if these virtual conferences will work.

The results of the poll we conducted in that post:

I know for me, I’ll always be at an in person show like Namescon. The Domain Show gives us a chance for a midyear update and broadens the attendee list globally and to those you cant get off day jobs, or travel. Presenters aren’t being asked to tie up 1-3 days for a 2 hour session, and companies can include many more specialists from their companies and divisions, who can speak to attendees concerns. Plus we have the flexibility to tackle the most pressing and timely issues in real time. Thanks for the post.

Are domainers this lonely? Like that stupid thing cyger does with the zoom thing.

I would not pay for it at all, why would anyone, I can watch Rick on twitter and other people who provide info for free everywhere.

If you paying for domain content, you are a sucker!!!
