What they do right – what do they do wrong – NameJet

May 17, 2020 by Raymond Hackney

NameJet

Over the last few years we have published a series The good, the bad and the ugly. Readers have been able to leave their feedback and some companies have reached out over the years and let me know they took the posts to heart.

This year I want to try to change it up a bit and, What they do right and what they do wrong. Focusing in a little deeper to give better feedback to industry participants.

When posting what they do wrong, please give your suggestions on how they could improve upon what they are doing wrong.

Do not take ad hominem or personal cheap shots. Speak about the company and give some background on how long you have been a customer.

Do not use the post as an opportunity to promote your company or a competitor.

Today we focus on NameJet, What do they do right and what do they do wrong?

Other Right/Wrong posts.

    Bad and or ugly
    – Names I’ve won (expired and private) over a month ago still haven’t been delivered to me.
    – They don’t have SSL setup on a platform that runs tens of thousands of dollars of transactions every day.

    Where do you even start?

The only good thing about NameJet is that they have inventory you can’t get anywhere else. Everything else is bad. They take months to deliver – or don’t deliver at all – names listed by private sellers that you have won. They don’t answer support tickets. They simply seem to not care about anything except charging your credit card. What a mess.

Never been able to list any domains for sale, haven’t had much response to my requests/submissions, probably too small a playa for them.

Really never had issues with NJ, all domains i bought got deliver on time,
i decided what card and when had to pay, they never charged my card, the only thing i don’t like that names that
have been put on auction that don’t meet reserve, every month they try to re-auction 100’s or 1000’s of names time after time with no success, if it didn’t sale don’t re-auction again within the next 6-12 month.
Stop waisting peoples time showing same names on the lists over and over
