As 2019 winds down Zenith Media put together a look at the advertising landscape for 2021. Over half of the global ad spend will be on the Internet, with 27% being spent on television. Magazines will be half of newspaper spending at just 3%.

Sarah Feldman wrote on Statista.com, Zenith estimates that in 2019, global spending will push 4.7 percent of growth, going above the 4 percent forecast previously made. Currently, these forecast-beating strides have been helped along by cross channel growth of online video and social media. Additionally, the United States, Russia, and France have bolstered much of this growth.

With the continued growth of the internet and being able to skip commercials while watching TV the percentage of internet ads is just going to continue to rise.
