Uniregistry expired names going to Dynadot

June 12, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

Page Howe did a post today on DN.biz that Uniregistry expired inventory is going to Dynadot’s marketplace.

Page wrote:

Uniregistry names seem to carry a higher than normal $50 fee, (Dynadot owned names start at $12.99) and seem to be at a set time, about 8 PM EST.   That a smart move as opposed to the tough to follow all day expired names period for Dynadot names.

The dynadot auctions are completely crap!
I have won Uniregistry expired domain name recently and it got renewed once I paid for the listing!

Dear This domain is for sale,

The expired domain auction for weightlossrecipes.com has been cancelled because the original registrant has renewed the domain.

If you have already sent payment, we will automatically credit it to your Dynadot account as account credit.

If you have any questions or concerns about this matter, please feel free to email us.

    Best Regards,

I thought about trying other auctions, besides godaddy auctions, but after reading some of the comments here, I think I might stay with what seems to be working for me.

That result of the owner renewing the name is no different than many expired auctions, including the king of them all, GoDaddy. It is frustration when it happened, but that is part of the expired auction life cycle.

Nothing there to blame Dynadot for.
