Swipe.io closed at $68,000 on Park.io to become the highest .io sale ever recorded according to Namebio.

The domain was registered in 2012. There is a Swipe.io by Dignity Games in the Apple and Google app stores.

The name was once parked at Undeveloped,

The previous high .io sale was lucky.io at $67,000.

      I had low five figure sale in .io few weeks ago. Unfortunately now i think most .io’s are starting to go out of whole sale range, anything good is excessively expensive. Case and point swipe.io, great name but clearly bought by two end users. When end users are watching auction domains…. you know it will get expensive in almost every auction.
