The rock band Crowded House was formed in 1985 and on Sunday the domain name CrowdedHouse.com closed at $12,000 on GoDaddy. The name was owned by the founder Neil Finn who has his website at NeilFinn.com.
The domain name was registered at 123 Reg not GoDaddy, now interestingly today the whois shows NameFind as the registrant. The Crowded House Facebook page for the band has 268,000 likes and was updated last month.
