Onsites.co is rebranding to Agave.com. Onsites.co provide new SaaS tools for hiring teams to improve their hiring processes and optimize their recruiting funnel. One product is the onsite schedule, which helps teams cut down on back-and-forth communication, deliver a world-class candidate experience, and helps candidates come in more prepared for the onsite interview so they perform better. Another product we offer is the offer letter: a fully transparent, highly effective, clear and easy to understand offer to help companies hire the best talent.

Co Founder Jared Tame posted on Medium about the rebrand, from the article:

Onsites.co is now Agave

Most companies are lucky if they can find a 5 letter .com domain that’s memorable and easy to spell. With Agave.com, we liked that it met the criteria for a memorable and simple name, but there’s a story behind it too.

If the first thing you think of is tequila when you hear “agave” that’s because it’s made from the blue agave plant. There’s a few similarities between making tequila and conducting interviews:

  • Everyone has tried tequila, and the first experience is terrible.
  • Everyone has interviewed for a job, and nobody enjoys it.

The difference between a negative and positive experience comes down to the process.

That’s superior tactics right there getting out of a .co and into Agave.
Companies that let a word like Agave get away can fight over Guano.

Horrible horrible horrible branding. And they paid five figures to do that? Sad. Search on how bad for your agave nectar is, btw.
