Namerpros member BetTheLot (Graham Haynes) announced on Namepros that he sold XYB.com for $100,000. The transaction was completed with a broker named Ivy at ename.

BetTheLot mentioned It will be a shortening of a pinyin phrase.

He cited Xiao long Bao. Which is a very famous type of food which has many restaurants in every town in China.

Kassey Lee wrote: For example, it’ll be an excellent upgrade for P2P lender Xin Yong Bao (信用宝) which is currently using XYB100.com.

He also mentioned that the sale should be reported to DN Journal. One member jokingly inferred that the buyer got ripped off by $99,992. All in good fun.

Congrats to Graham.

Thanks Raymond it’s XYB.com I think I may have let a rabbit run with the reference to steamed dumplings and Kassey is correct.
Importantly I am getting enquiries for 3L coms as shorteners for pinyin phrases. Such as ‘get a diploma’ rather than the traditional shortener for a companies brand. I’m sure Kassey or Guta will have a much better insight into this.
