Domainer says
A few people have noticed questionable bidding on Namejet. Trying to manipulate the bidding process.
It appears chinese sellers on namejet are placing many individual bids through multiple accounts. It looks like the domain/domains have 10-20 backorders which disappear the last few minutes of the auction. Because the domain/domains have 10-20-30+ bidders, others bidders backorder the domain. The chinese sellers are using the “who is the bigger fool” technique. I don’t know how long this has been going on but speculate a good while.
Namejet had been informed of the activity but are ignoring the questionable/misleading bids.
It reminded me of the fraudulent bidding we experienced on Snapnames a number of years ago which destroyed a thriving auction company. At that time, Snapnames management ignored complaints from the frequent user of the auction platform (active domainers),

An active namejet user told me yesterday, the chinese seller will delete the backorder within a couple hours of the closing time then re-enter the backorder so the quantity of bids remains high but low on the list of winning the auction. Very clever. The chinese have made it an art at manipulating markets.
