Verisign 10 Top Trending Terms For May: .Net in .Com; & .Net in .Net: Trump Scores Again in Both

Verisign released today it’s Top 10 Trending Keywords in .Com & .Net Registrations in May.

Interestingly “Net” to the left of the dot was number one in .Com and Net to the left of the dot was number one for .net domain names as well.

“Trump” continues to be a trending term for both .com and .net as it has been for several months

    I registered TrumpSupporter.com last June. I have had offers on the name but not high enough. If he become President, the name value will be even higher.

    Had a major plumbing bill in May installing a NORITZ Tankless Hot Water Heater. No more 50 Gallon tank, this compact unit superheats the water on demand using propane gas. My plumber doesn’t use a website, just business cards. However I did mention .VIP and the response was “Really, that’s where I can find the new stuff?” I suggested a few other extensions, but the plumber said, “That VIP sounds pretty good.” It was the only one that rang a bell.
