BitTorrent Acquires The Domain BT.co: Had a BIN Price of $75,000

BitTorrent.com has acquired the domain name BT.co.

The domain name was listed for sale for $75,000 on Sedo and was owned by the .co Registry, .CO Internet S.A.S. which is owned by Neustar (NSR).

The domain just cleared escrow at Afternic, yesterday so it is unclear whether Sedo or Afternic sold the domain and it’s unknown if the domain was sold for the asking price or a lower negotiated price.

BitTorrent is ranked as a top 5,500 in terms of traffic in the world by Alexa.

    congrats to seller/buyer

    I also sold privately a name which i can not revel until September which would have been biggest .co sale year to date but now bt.co beat me to it.

    The sale was $18,000

    Sorry to spoil the party but I see a sale for ru.co for $31,500 on 2016-05-30 on GoDaddy & a sale of ll.co for $42,000 on 2016-05-30

    Once you domain sale goes through at $18K it would appears to be the 4th highest of the year reported for a .co

    That was a quick check

    At the time of my sale those 2, RU.co and LL.co we in auction at Gd.
    All i know at the time of my sale, my sale was the highest.
