Rick Schwartz Sells 997.com

February 27, 2016 by Michael Berkens

Rick Schwartz has sold the three number .Com domain name 997.com for an undisclosed price.

Although the price was not disclosed Rick did tell TheDomains.com that the “sale is several times larger than the largest current sale of the year.”

According to DNjournal.com, the top sale of 2016, as of publication is BGI.com which sold for $235,000.

Rick went on to tell me; “The sale will bring my total numerical sales to an amount closing in on $4 million in the last seven months.”

“What is noteworthy is at the beginning of 2015 I announced that I would sell my entire numerical portfolio for approximately $3.5 to 5 million. ”

“It seems we are trending a little higher since most of my portfolio is still intact, which includes three number domains (NNN.com) four Number domains (NNNN.com) and number and letter domain.”

“The NNN market is still alive and well and still strong.”

Rick also tells me he has “several more deals in the fire”

We reported since September 2015, that Rick sold the domain name 899.com for $801,000, 989.com for $818,181.81, and four numeric domain names for $1.325 Million.

I checked the whois today and surprisingly the domain name did not move to a Chinese registrar but it under privacy at Enom.com.

Congrats to Mr. Schwartz

    Rick’s domain collection may be small. But I’d rather have a few Rothkos, Van Goghs, Monets, than thousands of unknown, albeit promising, artists.

    Rick’s numeric collection is far from small: http://domaingang.com/domain-news/domain-kings-numeric-domains-fine-collection-nnn-com-others/

    An even better look at Rick portfolio. I knew those numbers were going to make him enough to buy a lot of nice pair of sunglasses

    @Shane

    Didn’t know Rick owned P***yrehab.com. Trump should buy it and have his team develop a site for Ted Cruz.
