US Bank New Ad Campaign Around “The Power Of Possible”; .Com Owned T StatOil.com

January 26, 2016 by Michael Berkens

According to MediaPost.com “U.S. Bank has launched its most extensive brand-building campaign to date around the phrase,  “The Power of Possible” including TV, radio and newspaper ads, as well as social media engagement and other digital pieces.

The domain name ThePowerofPossible.com is owned by another big company StatOil.com, which is represented by CSC.

“Statoil is an international energy company present in more than 30 countries around the world”

The domain name does not resolve so it might be a good idea for U.S. Bank to try to acquire the domain name.

U.S. Bank is represented by MarkMonitor.com

U.S. Bank got a trademark for the term “the power of possible” in July while Statoil had a trademark since 2014 for Statoil: the power of possible” obviously in a different class than the bank.

Too bad .us sucks. it makes more sense for the bank to have .us or .bank than just .com
