Here Are The Domains For The Live Auction From Namescon

January 10, 2016 by Michael Berkens

RightOfTheDot will conduct the live auction on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time at the NamesCon Conference, at the New Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

130 domain names will be auctioned.

The domain names not chosen for the Live auction will continue to be up for auction on Namejet.com until January 21st.

Over 50% of the domain names in the Live auction already received bids over reserve and will sell tomorrow.

Any domain names not sold in the Live auction will be added back to Namejet.com on Tuesday and be available for bidding until January 21st.

Once a domain sells in the live auction, it is sold and will not go into the extended auction!

The domain selected for the Live auction will be removed from the Namejet.com site before the Live auction but can be bid on until removed.

Bidding on The Live Auction

1.) In-person bidding, please register at Network Lane at the ROTD table in the exhibit area on Monday morning, January 11, 2016, to receive a bidding paddle. You may also register just prior to entering the room prior to the start of the auction. You must have a bidders paddle to bid in person!

2.) Online bidding is NOT taking place on NameJet for the live auction. If you are planning to bid online during the live auction, you must register here.

Please be sure to register in advance if you plan on bidding online!!!!

Once registered, the auction will take place here where you will place your bids.

If you already have a pre-bid / proxy bid in place via NameJet, those bids still stand and will be transferred over to the live auction software.

Here is the live auction list and auction order for the live auction on Monday Jan 11th at 2 PM, PST:

My UQSQ.com SecurityLevel.com didn’t get in but I am happy it is part of the online auction. Thanks for selecting two of my names. Exciting just the same. Interested to see what Running.club brings since I own everal one word .clubs.

I hear you Bruce. My two .xyz also didn’t make the live auction although they look to be highest bid on one word .xyz domains in the online auction. Advertising.xyz and Crowdfunding.xyz.

I believe this list is missing some domains, as it contains 124 domains instead of 130.

I received an email earlier from ROTD, and these are some domains I saw there that I don’t see here:

    smart.watch
    oah.com
    bef.com
    supplies.com
    281.com

Our submission airline.net was declined. I believe it is because airline.com will be auctioned. Airline.net is now made available on flippa.

    Thanks for the post

At least you got bids. I have Pope.news, the only .news chosen for the online NamesCon auction on NameJet. Guess The Vatican is busy ….

  5. STRIKER says

    January 11, 2016 at 9:45 am

wow…that’s a list of mostly low-grade domains. Who would bid on this crap?

    • Emil says

      January 11, 2016 at 10:01 am

I disagree with you STRIKER, some are really really good names.

    • Don Edmands says

      January 11, 2016 at 10:57 am

Hey Striker there are some really good names on there…and some registered 25 minutes ago…lol

      January 11, 2016 at 10:41 pm

Do you see GameOnline.com? I think it is the domain all people in the world want to have. A very huge industry domain, should be sell in 6 figures.

      • STRIKER says

        January 12, 2016 at 9:08 am

Says the guy touting his .co domain. LOL!

        • Surya says

          January 12, 2016 at 9:26 am

If you say about me, my Chapters.co is not offered to sell, I am not touting it. Do you see AT.com? I wonder if you know the different between ultra premium and low-grade domains.

          • STRIKER says

            January 12, 2016 at 2:30 pm

I do know the difference: Chapters.co is low-grade, and AT.com is premium.

            Any other questions?

This is the most LL and LLL dot com I’ve seen listed in auction.
Christmas and New Year just passed, funding to acquire these domains for me is remotely impossible.

I will save for next year. 🙂

Auction is hot again. Thank you Chinese investors…

If you are in the namejet auction for namescon, you are still extremely fortunate. Tens of thousands of eyeballs you would not have had otherwise. I am not a new link fan, but let’s see what they bring $$$ wise. Maybe I will be a convert. Good luck to all of you folks. Back to brokering names to China for me. Have to eat.

I find it a bit unfair on the amount of names that are from registries, that made the cut.
They can afford to promote their stuff.
How about 2 live auctions ?
maybe the Registries with names that made the cut could sponsor the live auction of those names that didnt and dont belong to Registries ?
thanks anyway, have fun and good luck !

I love most of the names but sadly Grand.Estate didn’t get approval for the auction.

88.xyz is my favorite and must sell for high 5 Figure in usd. Thanks for the article Michael.

    These are the best;
    AT.com
    Tuscany.com
    Degree.com
    EUR.com
    Erotica.com

Hopefully the Live Stream Audio will be fixed.

    • Surya says

      January 12, 2016 at 5:46 am

Wow AT.com will be a spotlight , should go for 6 figures if in regular auctions.

  11. Monet says

Poor list of names and poor advance marketing. This auction could have been much better if it had been promoted properly and if they offered online bidding, they didn’t mix in newgtld crap and if the live streaming video worked properly. Also, seems like lot of names had high minimums even though it was billed as a no reserve bid. With all the talk about Chinese buyers, it didn’t seem that they were invited to this party.

I’d put my faves in this order:

    At.com
    Degree.com
    Eur.com
    Tuscany.com

Degree.com should have gone for high 6 figures.

My friend owns Degreed.com, a Mooc company, and the company received $35 million in funding last week. But keep in mind the investors also were funding him. He’s had a few good exits. He also bought Moocs.com

    What did it fetch?
