On Thursday we told you that the domain name AT.com was added to the RightoftheDot domain name auction being held as part of the NamesCon Conference on January 11th 2016, for which pre-bidding is now opened on Namejet.com

There is now a qualified $1.5 Million dollar bid on the domain name AT.com which of course is a even a more rare than a Two Letter .com which only has 676 possible combinations since it’s a word as well.

47 domain names that are live for pre-bidding now have a least one bid on NameJet.com

Additional domain names will be added this week as we finalize the auction list now that the submission period is closed.

With over 50 days to go until the live auction, a few domain names that have already hit reserve include:

OAH.com              $18,300

SpecticTank.com $5,400

88.xyz                     $3,100

Night.Club              $3,000

GameOnline.com $2,855

Many more domains are being offered at No Reserve (minimum bid on any domain name is $300).

Here are the domain names with bids already in the five figures:

Auctions.com           $78,277

Genetics.com           $63,000

Labs.com                  $51,111

Lawn.com                 $42,500

IMK.com                   $34,133

Some of the highest selling 2 letter domains to date have vowels.
      We.com 8m
      IG.com 4.7m
      MI.com 3.6m
      etc

$1.5M bid has been placed by someone knowing the reserve price being above such amount.

    Peter

But they also are willing to buy the domain for the bid price.

Also remember that a seller can drop their reserve price so don’t bid an amount unless you’re willing to pay that amount because you might have to

Two letter combinations that actually mean something have a broader market than just the Chinese market.
Betting this one heads much higher. Otherwise, would be a good value for the current bidder.

That’s odd because usually an auction doesn’t allow someone to drop the reserve price to trigger a buy with a bid thait’s below the reserve at the time it was made that’s odd Namejet doesn’t let it regular members do that on a daily basis in their daily auctions.

    Domain

Remember this is just pre-bidding on Namejet.com, the auction will be held LIVE and online on January 11.

At a live auction sellers can reduce their reserve to meet the high bidder, has always been so.
