Biggest New gTLD Registrants: 23 of Top 30 Are From China; 38 out of Top 50

According to ntldstats.com registrants from China are dominating the list of the top 100 Biggest New gTLD Registrants

23 of the top 30 domain names registrants are from China;

38 out of Top 50 domain names registrants are from China;

and 72 of out 100 are from China.

If you consider that of the 7 registrants of domain names using the new domain extensions, 3 of those are affiliated with new gTLD registries, that only leaves 4 out of the top 30 new gTLD registrants from coming from a country other than China.

It now take 3,527 domain registrations to make the top 100 largest domain registrants of new gTLD’s domains.

    I’d guess it’s because they’re bulk buying numerics and Chips in the new extensions.

    I am holding my keyword combo names in any extension. The fever in China has started and they will soon be buying anything they can get. Reminds me of the good old days.

    Its been a change over time, the heavy push by some registries into China including .XYZ and those in China like .Top plus all the $1 priced domains of Famous Four

    I have tried to fathom out the existing TM’s on some of the premier low numerics such as class 42 but difficult to understand how often they are enforced However, there are registrations.
