DomainHoldings.com has brokered the domain name Adopting.com for $125,000 according to a blog post.
The purchaser of the domain name is Adoptimist.com.
The blog post gives a few details on the negotiation and sale.
The post also says:
On par with adopting of the single word variety there are:
- Adopt.com
- Adoption.com
- Adopted.com
I think there are a few more including adopts.com adoptions.com.
However to note adoption.com doesn’t seem to be going anywhere unless you buy the whole company nor does adopt.com, or Adopted.com so none of those three seem to be available which is equally as important as how many other possible versions of a domain could there be.

A very good marketing pricing and a perfect pitch. A very successful story, especially considering that adopted . com sold for $15,525.00 back in 2012 and the owner of adoption . com Elevati paid $4,000.00 for elevate . com just two years ago.
