Since announcing he is running for President of the United States in 2020 at the MTV Music Video Awards last night, people have been registering domain names related to the hip-hop artist promised presidential run.
From PresidentKanyeWest.com to Kanye2020.com to people who are really looking down the road registering kanyewestforpresident2024.com and Kanye2028.com there are a lot of domain names registered in various extensions today.
I even found some new gTLD domain names registered including KanyeWest.xyz, KanyeWestforPresident.xyz and KanyeWest.Democrat
KanyeWest.Gop is still unregistered as is KanyeWest.vote as of publication.
Someone who thinks Mr. West deserves a higher office than President registered KanyeWestisJesus.com
According to TMZ.com the owner of the domain name KanyeForPresident.com who registered the domain name back in April is getting “huge offers … upwards of $80,000.”
Medium.com covered 112 domain names that were registered since Mr. West announcement breaking it down and we found some other domain names registered today now that Mr. West is in the building.
People need to remember that UDRP rules and federal law still applies to even Hip-Hop artists that are running for President and domains like KanyeWestFoundation.com, TheKanyeWest.com and both registered today are problematic.
As usually Frank Schilling has owns one of the best Kanye West related domains but registered back in 2005, JesusWalks.com

I have a house in NC so we have spent a lot of time in Asheville (a Place everyone should visit) and stayed at the Aloft a couple of years ago.
Its actually another chain by Starwoods, which they consider a small “W hotel” and in each they have a XYZ bar.

All you need to do is select half a dozen retards from the local psychiatric ward and draw lots.
Outcome would be much the same but you would save a lot of time and money.

I completely agree with your opinion of Asheville. In fact, we liked it so much we just bought a home there — decks with views of the mountains. on 3 sides.
I prefer Asheville to Austin – same kind of vibe, but without the crazy traffic. and less heat.

What if you have one of those names but you don’t park the domain or use it as a website, so you’re not making money off it, can the person still sue you?

Certainly not to domains like Kanyeforpresident.com or http://www.west2020.com there are plenty of “West” and “Kanye” in the world.
Its a very complicated subject which is why it took over 500 pages for an attorney to explain trademark, legal rights and domain names

Actually going to miss this year my wife Judi had back surgery 2 weeks ago and she has a 3 month recovery so no NC for us.

Highlands is very nice — population increases 3 X in the Summer. Upscale and beautiful retreats.
We picked up a mountain retreat outside of Asheville and a small apartment in the Montford section of Asheville
Most people in Asheville are complaining about the rising market (which it is for most, as jobs are scarce), but in comparison, to South Florida and San Francisco, you can get a nice abode without breaking the bank. But Highlands real estate is a bit pricier than the rest of the mountain area.
I like mine more!! Biased maybe
