BitcoinWallets.com is live

August 17, 2015 by Raymond Hackney

Back in February of 2014 BitcoinWallet.com sold for $250,000. Coin Desk reported on the story,

Younts, who confirmed the sale to CoinDesk but declined to comment, also noted in the post that he is close to selling the domain BitcoinWallets.com for a similar asking price. The domain asset was a part of the NeverLoseVision.com investment portfolio, a seven-figure incubator portfolio with startup projects and investment domain assets.

A search of the WHOIS domain record-keeping database revealed that Younts is the current owner of BitcoinWallets.com, and that Charfen is the current owner of BitcoinWallet.com.

Niko Younts is still the owner of BitcoinWallets.com, he let TheDomains.com know that the site has gone live and those interested can check it out. This is just the first update. The site host many videos on Bitcoin which were interesting. There are also reviews on the various different wallets.

Wish the BitcoinWallets.com sale went through as we picked up BitWallets.com 1+ years ago on Snapnames, would have been a nice comparable.

I’m hearing that the demand for bitcoin/btc has diminished, however the demand for blockchain technology has risen — with many banks and payment providers implementing block chain protocols and technologies, NOT bitcoin, into their offerings.

I have been watching crypto currencies for a while now. Similar to domains about 20 years ago. “This won’t last. The Internet is a fad”. We know what happened with that assumption.
Although there are growing pains with any new technology Bitcoin has had the most adoption to date. It is a great technology that will transform MANY industries. It WILL also wipe out entire industries that fail to recognize the power of the blockchain.
Exciting times. Use your beer money to buy bitcoins. I should have picked them up earlier this year when they were under $170 each. Almost $100 up in 5-6 months. Fun times.

I recently purchased off GoDaddy auctions TheCryptocurrency.com at great value. Although the adoption is still very early, the future will be many types of cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrency will be traded just like international currency today in the future. Apple has Apple Pay with the backing from corporate banks.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds thanks to the adoption of bitcoin. I’m sure the creators of Bitcoin may create an even better 2.0 version? Who knows?

I love your posts Raymond thanks again.

I saw that name when writing the Daily Sales Recap on TLDinvestors.com, I thought that was an excellent buy.

Best of luck with the domain.

Bah! So-called “crypto-currencies” are going nowhere. There were several before bitcoin, and there will be several after…and in the end, they all have the same value (zippo).
