MaxHardcore.com sells for $10,100 – Max Hardcore not the Winner

January 20, 2015 by Raymond Hackney

Just one bidder stepped up and outbid the $10,000 high bid placed in December, for MaxHardcore.com. The auction closed at $10,100 . Back at the end of December, Max Hardcore said he would be bidding on the domain. Today that changed, in an article for Xbiz he said:

— Max Hardcore won’t be bidding on the domain name MaxHardcore.com, which goes up for auction later today at NameJet.com.

The porn actor, producer and director who was convicted on obscenity charges and released several years ago said last night that he’s moved on and won’t bid on the domain that was seized by the government and handed to NameJet to sell in the open market.

“I will not bid or pay for the domain name,” Hardcore told XBIZ. “I’m already a million miles down the road,” he said. “I am Max Hardcore. I own my name, all my movies, and enforce all my trademarks and copyrights.

Max Hardcore does run a website at Max-Hardcore.com why no .XXX ?

Will be interesting to see if the domain can be used, if the buyer puts up an adult related site will Max Hardcore file a UDRP ?

i guess this is the rare time Network Solutions can keep the domain and sell it through Namejet because it has extenuating circumstances.

“I am Max Hardcore. I own my name, all my movies, and enforce all my trademarks and copyrights.

From what I read he is Hardcore about enforcing his trademarks so somebody just lost $10,100.
