Domain - what domain name to choose

Ashton Kutcher who is one of the more prominent celebs to adapt to social media and has over 16 million Twitter followers, has secured the domain for his new baby daughter.  There is talk the one month old could have her own Twitter and Instagram accounts too.

The names Kutcher registered included: WyattKutcher.com WyattIsabelle.com.  The domains were registered at Enom on 3-25-14 under privacy.

Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher won’t have much to worry about when she turns 16 as her famous father has already reserved all of the domain names for her.

Ashton, 36, made the revelation during his interview on CONAN, saying: “We immediately went home and we reserved all the domain names. We got the Twitter handle, the Instagram—everything that you could possibly [have].

“I don’t want a porn site with my daughter’s name! It’s unacceptable to me and it’s not gonna happen!”

    i bought my kids .com when he was born but social media handles were taken.

    He didn’t even need to mention the extension of the domain names he registered. .com is the default extension.

    And so he ignores .XXX which points to the lack of public (celebrity) awareness of anything outside .com

    Oh, that’s how it goes: the celeb “reserves” a name, but when I do it, I’m a “squatter”.
