August 30, 2014 by Raymond Hackney

5NDomains

Our latest poll takes a look at Numeric.com values. Numerics have continued to be one of the strongest categories for domain investors, fetching excellent prices and also being a very liquid category within the space. Michael has mentioned a few times that he has had several parties interested in 345.com which he owns. There have been multiple offers over $500,000. 4.CN completed its largest auction sale ever at 357.com sold for $161,633, 103.com sold for $130,164.

Top 5 reported to DN Journal in 2014

37.com      $1,960,800
100.com     $950,000
0060.com    $120,848
106.com     $107,000
1905.com    $57,000

Other 4.cn Auction Sales in 2014

920.com  $96,447
819.com  $74,921
331.com  $73,113
383.com  $71,777
780.com  $67,035

So our poll question is where you see values going ?

  1. Up
  2. Down
  3. Stay approximately where they are

The poll is in the right sidebar, thank you.

It all depends on the global economy. China’s growth is explosive, although it’s uneven; certain emphasis placed on recent sales should at least include a curve of sales for the past 5+ years.

Numerics, particularly NNN and NNNN, seem to be getting scarce day by day. I am watching what’s going on with ABAB or AABB types of numeric .COMs, but I don’s see many on the market or at auctions.

    345.com is an excellent name.
I believe the average price for good NNN.com domain name should be in the $500k range.
With Some super premium NNN.com between $1m and $5m range. 345.com would fall into that price range.

For those paying attention. Sedo is about to hold a Number Domains auction.

I believe 588.com should be about a $2m range name.
