1st URS Filed On a .UNO Domain, Aeropostale.uno Leads The Weekly URS Report

The first URS has been filed on a .Uno domain name .

.Uno just launched this week.

The clothing maker Aeropostale filed a URS against the domain name Aeropostale.Uno which was just registered on the 21st of March

We figured we might as well scheuldue every Friday afternoon a URS weekly report

So A few other URS were filed or decided over the last few days including bbva.careers and bbva.ventures which are both now suspended after A URS was filed by Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A.

The domain lidl.land was suspended after a URS was filed by Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG

Guess, which is a big Clothing an Jeans designer apparently did spent the money to register Guess.Clothing which is right up their wheel house and resulted in another URS filing.

Guess also filed a UDRP on the domain name Guessonline.com

The equipment maker Stihl filed a URS on the domain name  stihl.equipment

Ripoffreport.company also got hit with a URS filing.

Richard Branson’s company got the domain name virginaustralia.holdings suspended.

Although not a new gTLD, a UDRP was filed on the domain name GoAlamo.name today

    So dumb. Sure, Aeropostale was an aviation company founded in 1918 that ceased operations in 1933 (according to Wikipedia) but I doubt the person who registered it has any connection to that company. But hey, maybe he/she was a newbie domainer lol

    @Domo Sapiens. The difference is that the registry reserved the names to protect the rightful owners from cybersquatters and in no way are trying to profit from them. These names will be given to the rightful owners for free. Thank you.

    Thanks for the explanation…

    how many of the 4,297 registrations so far correspond to that type of “reservation”?
    I noticed most day there is xx number of registrations but on a particular day there were over 2000

    And why choosing politicians and sports teams and not Fortune 500 companies and ONG’s ?

    I am inclined to call that ‘eschewing the numbers’, a bit of shill registration if you may…
    What is the intent?

    Additionally it makes me wonder what other new gTLD are behaving the same way?

    giving the appearance of more interest than it really it is…
