   When I had many dating sites/apps (which were acquired), True.com was one of our competitors. Did they go belly-up? Very hard to compete with the Big 4 – Match (which also has Tinder, OK Cupid), eHamony, Plenty of Fish, Zoosk (&maybe this one’s at risk). Still have some dating apps, but it’s a tough biz (attrition, acquisition, trying to assure safety of users, keeping scammers out, etc) —

   I was thinking the same thing. Thighs, Their,, Byline, Broth, Chose, Monologue, Gaiters, Chard, Succubus, Saviour, and Trying all bought for $1,277 each all by the same person. Seems odd.

   @dan. yep. some nice domains. seller seems to be VL Raymer from US and domains were being listed through Hotkeys.com a Demand Media subsidiary. Unless they were grabbed by NameMedia throught a previous expiration…

   bvaa.com sold by the usual suspect from domainassetholdings.com

   teamshirts.com sold by the usual suspect at hitfarm.com

   This isn’t panic selling. Something does not add up here. VL Raymer is Virginia Comito who was represented by Karen Bernstein in the Primp.com counterfeit case and ultimately won. She owns or has owned names like Occupy.com, SportsCoverage.com, CityData.com etc….and thousands more. She knows what these domains are worth and they are worth a lot more than $1,277 each. There is a obituary of a Virginia Comito from Nov of last year. A very unique name so it could be the same person.

   PornTube.com is a trademark.

   Wouldn’t BlackPornTube.com be a violation of said mark?

   something is definitely off with those $1277 sales…if todd is correct perhaps this brian franco talked the executor of the estate into selling for this amount? talk about a steal. any normal person would of at least pushed them to auction.

    It was a pricing glitch on sedo. Some of us just got lucky 🙂
    They later increased the prices of their whole portfolio.
