With the NamesCon conference getting ready to kick off in Las Vegas this week everyone in the domain industry should be on the look out for some big news and announcements.

If history is any lesson, many companies in the space have used domain conferences like TRAFFIC, Domainfest and the ICANN meetings to release stories of new ventures,  deals, developments and launching of new opportunities.

With over 600 people now expected to attend NamesCon should gets its fair share of announcements and press releases of deals.

Besides I might know of somethings coming down the pike that should have been announced already but look like were put off probably to announce at NamesCon.

Keep your eyes out on TheDomains.com and our Twitter feed as well as well at the Twitter hashtag #Namecon.

I will be speaking on three panels during the conference

12:05PM on Tuesday

The Secondary Market is The Primary Market (Room A)

2:05PM on Tuesday

New TLDs + ‘Domainers’: The Opportunities (Room A)

11:55 Am On Wednesday

Meet the industry Press (Room C)

If you can please try to catch one of the sessions I’m speaking in and come up and say hello.

I’m look forward to seeing old friends and meeting a bunch of new people.
