The domain name 88888.com  was sold for $245,000 just a few weeks ago by Name Administration.

At the time we chatted about how the number 8 was super lucky in Chinese Culture so what could be better than five 8’s?

How about 24 eight’s in a row.

The domain name  888888888888888888888888.com  is dropping tomorrow as is already on the Namejet.com 50 most back ordered list for tomorrow for pending delete domains.

If you wondering the .com with 23 number 8’s in a row is taken, as is the .com with 25 number 8’s in a row.

Happy Holidays.

You ask “what could be better than 5 8’s” . Surely 8 8’s would be even better ?.

Yell the Chinese are buying up all the number domains because its easier for them to remember numerical characters than alphabetical ones. 245, 000 my be steep for a bunch of numbers but when you think about it, its the ultimate publicity stunt for a name like gamesforgirls.com. I’m only posting on this thread because I came across a headline about the games for girls sell. I even went to the site and found out my daughters love the heck out of the site. A lil research and I found out the sites getting over 50,000 visitors a month, so maybe there is some genius to this madness. I’m sure a million and the domain would’ve made cable news.
