The HuffingtonPost.com just covered the Indianapolis house of Domain Hall Of Fame member  Chad Folkening.

According to the HuffingtonPost.com,  the 26,000 square foot home is for sale for just $1.3 Million dollars.

The story says in part:

“The estate was eventually purchased by Chad Folkening, an Indiana-born entrepreneur who made millions buying and selling Internet domains. It’s now listed by Brian Sanders of Century 21 Scheetz.”

“Folkening didn’t really change any of Hostetler’s “unique” architectural style. Instead, he spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on deferred maintenance, Sanders told The Huffington Post.

The story quotes Chad, who is one of the top domain name investors, as saying about his home:

“It’s right in the heart of Indianapolis, it’s not really a suburban location,” he pointed out. “Ideally, it’d be great to find someone who could use it for personal use, but also entertaining and hosting out-of-town guests for long periods of time, business people. It’s definitely going to take someone who has a lot of personality.”

It’s a shame someone dumped all of those rocks in the yard.

Just for FYI.. Real estate is my passion, unique real estate from schools to churches to crazy old 26,000 ft former brothers so i followed my passion with no regrets. For me its time to move on as I dont live there and have a family but we did throw the best parties in town and launched VentureCamp. For reference, that picture is only one 7,000 sq ft. part of 26,000 sq ft and yes, its it unique and not your standard midwestern home like most people and domainers live in.. If i keep it, those rocks will be first to go..

That’s one of the ugliest places I’ve ever seen…
but then, whoever said super-rich folks have taste…
oh wait… not super rich – he’s not a triple
    digit millionaire…
(comments not meant to hurt his
feelings – just calling ugly ugly…)
