Sedo.com Sells Deco.com For $100,000; Fork.com For $50,000

August 27, 2013 by Michael Berkens

In its second $100,000 sale reported today, Sedo.com has sold the domain name Deco.com for $100,000.

Earlier today we reported that Godaddy.com sold OPS.com through a Sedo MLS listing for $100,000.

Neither of these two sales is included in this weeks Sedo.com report.

The seller of Deco.com was  BlackHawk Industrial of  Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

The domain is currently going to a placeholder for Domaine.Fr a French registrar indicating that the buyer may well be a french company.

The domain name Deco.com has an original registration date of 1995.

Its worth mentioning that the domain name ArtDeco.com sold about one year ago for $75,000.

In another sale reported today by Sedo but not included in the weekly sales report was the domain name Fork.com which sold for $50,000.

The domain name Fork.com is under privacy but is being forwarded to vetter-forks.com

The last information we have at Thedomains.com on Fork.com is it was for sale at Domainfest.com back in 2010 when it was for sale with  a reserve range of $25,000-$50,000 but doesn’t look like it sold at that conference although it was one of our picks.

Congrats to the buyers and sellers on the second six figure sale of the day and the $50K sale of Fork.com

As .com prices fall the sales happen. There should be equilibrium else there is too little of the deals.
