Vipspace Enterprises LLC Withdraws Application For new gTLD .VIP: Now 118 Withdrawn New gTLD Apps

Vipspace Enterprises LLC of Munich Germany has become the latest company to withdraw its application for the new gTLD .VIP.

The application had a prioritization number of 1,804 meaning that after next week’s Initial Evaluation release by ICANN the maximum refund would have only been 35% but now the applicant gets a 70% refund.

Vipspace becomes the 1st applicant for the .VIP new gTLD to withdraw their application.

There are still 5 more applicants for .VIP including Google, Donuts and Top Level Domain Holdings (TLDH).

Today ICANN is expected to release the next set of Initial Evaluation results for all application through prioritization number 1,800 which we will have for you later today.

There are now 118 new gTLD applications withdrawn from ICANN.
