August 22, 2013 by Michael Berkens

TheDomains.com just got this email from Frank Schilling’s DomainNameSales.com announcing that they have grown to a brokerage teamof 14 people, (who speak 10 languages) and are available 7am – 7pm Central time.

“You now have the ability to select our brokerage team to revive interest in your inquiries that have not been active for 30 days.”

“By opting in you can still keep self-brokering your new leads or choose us to take care of it all.

We are also testing new exciting features, which we will be releasing in the coming weeks.

As we endeavor to keep standards high and provide you with these innovative features we will be raising our commission rate for full-service to 12.5% across the board. ”

The standard commission rate prior to the increase was 10%.

You can also choose from a bunch of other brokers, including our own MostWantedDomains.com for your listings that are for sale at DomainNameSales.com.

I don’t think you can buy stock.

A better buy might be uniregistry stock.

    “DomainNameSales.co

Other than using a their domain name as an identifier that they own and you don’t

How can anyone be confused by that.

First and foremost the .co guy above, your a douche bag, I hope you are banned from the DNS system for life.

Second question is do DNS members need to do anything different to opt into this 30 day follow up system for the inhouse broker system, seems like a good idea, probably lead to a low conversion rate, but something is better than nothing?

Mike, thank you for the posting. We appreciate it.

Ryan, and anyone else who is interested you can opt into this service by sending an email to sales@domainnamesales.com, or in your settings tab on the left side in the auto assignment section click on “Old Leads”.

We are very excited about this new feature, and look forward to seeing some great results. For those who have their leads outside of the DNS system we could potentially upload them and offer this service as well.

Only in Frank-world would the idea that you would nurture a database of leads and then market to them later be considered some innovation worthy of a headline and breathless commentary. Wow. Genuis! And Raising prices? Of course. What happened to the I’m just doing this as a service to the industry?

Well In Franks Defense not that he needs a lot there are now 14 brokers I think pretty much all commission based living the Caymans on Frank’s nickel so they need to make a living just like you do there is overhead I assume the Cayman’s is not the cheapest place to live or operate out of.

For the record we at Mostwanteddomains.com charges 15% commission

    @domaininvestors

The few times I had interacted with the brokers, they have been lightning quick, honest, polite, and in the know. The 12.5% is small potatoes compared to the level of hand picked service you are getting. I don’t know why these guys always complain, nobody forces you to use this service, it is a great service, if you have the right names to put behind the power of the platform. The DNS team is kind of like a NBA all star team, where only the very best are picked.
