Veterinarians.com Sold as Felix Upgrades Its Domain LocalVets.com

August 5, 2013 by Michael Berkens

It appears the domain name Veterinarians.com has been sold to Felix, a leading local advertising company, which announced today that is has launched Veterinarians.com as “the directory of choice for connecting consumers with veterinary hospitals to schedule an appointment”.

Felix previously used the domain LocalVets.com, as the domain for the directory which  “drives over 6,000 phone calls a day from consumers looking to schedule an appointment for their pet.”

“The new Veterinarians.com offers up-to-date content such as biographies and deals nationwide for consumers selecting a new veterinary hospital for their pet.”

The whois record for the domain name Veterinarians.com just updated in July to reflect the Felix as the owner of the domain.

The domain name previously was owned by DomainCapital.com since 2009.

Prior to DomainCapital.com owning the domain,  the domain was under privacy.

We have reached out to both parties to see if we can get more information.

    Theoretical upgrade.
    Practical downgrade.

Pick 100 random people off the street.
How many can properly spell Veterinarians?

Over/Under is set at 50. I got the over.
