There is only one award that pertains to Domain Blogs and with competition every year from theDomains, Sherpa, Elliot etc…..and the person that will probably never be recognized should be. Rick needs to come up with a new award category for Raymond Hackney of Hybrid Domainer. He writes his own blog with great content, writes for Morgan Linton, works with Adam Dicker, and moderates the forums. He deserves some recognition.

There should be more emphasis placed on the information we as domainers receive. Think about where would we be without the Domaining.com feed but there is no category for Francois to every get any recognition. Having only one award for Domain blog of the year is to generalized. There should be more categories for blogs because without the blogs Domaining as a business or hobby would be non existent in my opinion.

    1. I would need a title for the award that would be competitive among many.
    2. Anythng we add will have to be for 2014.
    3. There may already be a classification that could fit and you could nominate somebody for this year.

Possibly some type of readers choice award. There are thousands of readers and I think it would be cool to see what the mass would choose. Probably hard to regulate the votes but interesting none the less.

“All those that are eligible to vote should have received an email this morning containing the ballot and some new rules:”

I’m a reader and I didn’t get to vote so my answer would be No its not a readers choice award.

“Best writer” or “Best (content) contributor” or something else along those lines maybe.
